Can't wait, Tomahawk was my highlight too but plenty of other good bands. Easily the best festival going around these days. Still deciding on whether to go to harvest festival, would love to see Mondo Cane.

Yep, and you're right. Much like Patton's other bands, they are fucking awful. How that guy gets classified as a genius I'll never know.

I totally understand, they are something that you either really enjoy or completely hate. I wouldn't mind checking out Garbage too, I used to like their old stuff, haven't listened to them in a while.

    I'm going-

There isn't a band on there that I flipped out over, but definitely a few worth seeing - I'm interested in

    Anthrax
    Kyuss Lives
    APC
    Tomahawk
    Sum41
    Garbage

I would liek to see Metallica again- haven't seen them in 20 years, but hopefully concentrate on their 80's stuff
I'll ride the wave where it takes me

Dude, I honestly think they took him on tour cuz they like hangen out with him. He's always spotted at the lakers games with danny and AJ. and I agree 100% with you, that band is/was and will ALWAYS be terrible :):):):):)

I agree. Haven't been to the Big Day Out in years. I like RHCP but I really can't bring myself to put up with the crappy music all day to see them. not only that but the whole fluro paint and glow sticks thing, just not my thing.

isn't my type of music.. but glad it seems soundwave has almost overtaken the BDO as the premier festival in australia.. especially since the BDO has gone down hill the last few years.

Phewwww! ;) I like my metal so there's quite a few I'll go see but it is a pity that they aren't going to do their own concert. By the sounds of it, there aren't any sidewaves in Adelaide or Perth at all. :?

Fair enough, ;) It isn't cheap by any means, especially if your only going for a couple of bands. I felt that way about the BDO too.

BDO lineup this year is terrible IMO. But I haven't enjoyed RHCP for over a decade and there isn't another band on there that I would pay good money to see. I normally like the variety BDO offers, but underwhelming this year.

Soundwave on the other hand just gets stronger and stronger. There is not too many bands that I would kill to see (Anthrax, Kyuss Lives) and I've seen Metallica and Slayer already, but it is such a solid lineup, I can't wait.

Definately looking forward to seeing Anthrax, ;) I was brought up listening to all my older brother's music and Attack of the Killer B's was one of my fav albums when I was about 9. hence I was a strange kid.
