Who is your favorite new artist? Is it someone people haven't heard of? I suggest that people share who they are listening to that other people may not know. Expand their horizons! Possibly include a website or somewhere to hear their music!!!

Here's mine - .....Evan Riley (ME) - I figured I may find some people on here I would LOVE hear new music. I just started my own music a year ago and am finishing my first recording project and getting a website up. I have my first single, "Cut To The Bone" loaded on my website.

    It is http://www.evanrileymusic.com

Please let me know what you think!

They aren't really "new" since they have 2 albums and an EP out and have been playing for a few years, but outside NOLA and parts of the southeast they aren't known that well.

The Revivalists. They are one of the best live bands I have ever seen too.

Here is a link to listen to their EP and first album as well as a few tracks off their new album too. They are definitely a much better live band too.

Paulo is very popular here, he has a really great voice and some good tunes. I prefer his stuff that sounds like Rod Stewart and The Faces. I'm sure he'd pull off a decent rock album if he wanted to.

Yeah - you listen to "Jenny Don't be Hasty and you realize how he could rock the house if he wanted. He does what he wants stylistically and I love it

We Are Augustines. They have one disc called Rise Ye Sunken Ships and it is incredible all the way through. Check out the tracks Chapel Song, Book of James, New Drink for the Old Drunk and East Los Angeles. Really though, check out the entire disc. Unbelievable.
