after hearing from a few fans while walking in Milan that Stone and Boom where there, I went all over the place looking for them

... didn't find them, but bumped into this great guy

had a nice talk about the guys being followed by cams for the dvd and about them finally playing in Belgium (not the 6 hours that Eddie "promised", but he enjoyed it nevertheless)
This land is mine, this land is free, I'll do what I want but irresponsibly

My thoughts exactly, how the hell does this man play guitar so friggin amazingly right handed if he's a lefty???? WOW...I just earned a new level of respect for Mr. McCready
Lying sideways atop crumpled sheets and no covers he decides to dream. Dream up a new self. For himself.

    It's really not that unusual.
My son is a lefty, and plays right handed guitar, too.

I find that most lefties are pretty gifted people.

He's probably ambidextrous like me. I write left handed but there's no way I could play it with my left hand.
  • Speaking from personal experience, I was a naturally left-handed player but because my mom had a right-handed guitar, I learned that way. Playing guitar isn't a natural thing so you have to teach both hands to do things they aren't used to doing anyway. Left-handed players have a benefit playing right-handed because their dominant hand is fingering the chords (arguably more difficult once strum patterns are learned) rather than strumming.
Using the word "methinks" in your message board posts doesn't make you look smart.

I must be expectional 'cause I am not gifted. :(

I grew up using both hands, but got scared at a young age when told that it could cause retardation or worse... so I stopped and stayed with my left hand.

I use right hand for almost everything else...and I even sign with my right hand and in fingerspelling.

Unless you call writing backwards in handwriting and putting it in front of a mirror a "gift", then I guess that is something... lol

That never ceases to amaze my 9 years old son, who also is left-handed. :D;)

Mikey and I are leftyists!! Yay. :)
