as a child
i was punctuated by a balloon
and the saturday morning cartoons
said "hey kid, have a gray breeze"
and i asked
"but what about
the other colors?"
while looking down
the driveway was covered in rust
and read
like a newspaper
beige and blue
had gone away
and i
saw flowers bowing to me
as the sun set behind me
I knew it all along, see?

I love those moments when I realize I'm smiling after having read something.

This is one of those times.

    Thanks.
