If you just wanna bet a few $$ a race...

Then just ask for a $1 exacta box 1-2-3.....
    Or a $1 exacta box 4-5-6.....
Each ticket will cost ya $6....
    If ya win...Cool!!!
If not..Ya only lost a few bucks...

    You going with work?

it's our company outting this year. i honestly would rather go back to wrigley like we have for the past 6 years. :( getting drunk down there on somebody else's dime is always a good time.

    Go to the window...
    Ask for a $1 exacta box 1-2-3.....
    It costs you $6...

    That covers 6 bets..
If any of those horses finishes 1st and 2nd..(But they MUST finish 1st and 2nd) You win BIG!!
    It only costs you $6...
And your co-workers, who also will have no clue...
Will be impresed that you are making exacta and trifecta bets!!!! hehehehehehe

    1-2
    1-3
    2-1
    2-3
    3-1
    3-2

Any of those combinations finish 1st and 2nd....You win!!!!
Total bets for 3 races is $18
    Ya covered 18 bets.....

Plus instead of just betting on 1 horse to win...
You get to follow 3 horses...
And 1 of your horses WILL ALWAYS be close....So You will have something to cheer for....

Thats it...Except they MUST finish 1-2

    $1 exacta box....

    ANY 3 horses ya want......

But they need to finish 1-2......

    Cost ya $6

    Simple...If ya take the 5-6-7
    The race must finish
    5-6
    5-7
    6-5
    6-7
    7-5
    7-6

Any of those will win ya money...
And it only costs you $6

  • And whats also cool about boxing 3 horses in an exacta.....

Is when your cute little co-worker nicknamed 'Sweet Buns" walks up to you and says...

"I just bet $2 on the 3 horse, because I liked his name"

    YOU can respond....

'I just bet a $1 exacta box 1-3-5. Arlington seems to be favoring the speed horses the last 3 weeks, and the 1 and the 3 seem to like the inside posts, according to recent history. I know the 5 horse LOVES this distance, 7 furlongs, so I threw him in there, hoping to hit my gimmick bets.

Miss "Sweet Buns" will be so impressed, she will be riding YOU like a horse! hehehehehehehehe

*Kramer is reading a newspaper. Couple of men behind him are talking.*

Man1: This, it's the fourth horse of the first race, Pappanick.

Man2: How do you know it's going to win?

Man1: My UPS-guy tells. Guys who own the horses are regular customers.

Every horse he has ever given me has won.

See, they've been sandbagging and looking for a good spot. He's been

getting it light cause they've been using bug boy and the workout hasn't

been published. Now they are ready to run with it. They are gonna break his

maiden. It's going to go to great price, maybe 30:1. I'm telling you ,it's

    a lock.

Man2: But it rained last night.

Man1: Exactly, this horse loves the slop. It's in his bloodlines. His

father was a mudda', his mother was a mudda'.

Man2: His mudda' was a mudda'?

Man1: What did I just say? Come on, let's go to the office, I'm going to

call my bookie. Hey, don't tell anybody.

    *Kramer quickly turns away*
