I have most of the Spun Soundtrack tunes by Djali Zwan, but I'm missing a few, and can't find where to get them from:

Think You Know
Loving You Sunday Morning
The Shining Path
Freedom (not Freedom Ain't What It Used To Be-already got that one)

if anyone can be of help, I'd really appreciate it.

    I found Think You Know on youtube a little while ago, it's a pretty good quality version.

    http://youtu.be/KpiQP89y2kY

    I just used http://www.youtube-mp3.org/ to download it. I haven't got any of the others though
    “Do not postpone happiness”
    (Jeff Tweedy, Sydney 2007)

    “Put yer good money on the sunrise”
    (Tim Rogers)
  • I wish they would just release the damn thing.
    {if (work != 0) {
    work = work + 1;
    sleep = sleep - work * 10;}
    else if (work >= 0) {
    reality.equals(false);
    work = work +1;
    }system("pause");
    return 0;}

    They probably didn't offer Billco enough money or promised radio play.

  • Think You Know is up here - http://thepumpkins.net/music/644-music- ... soundtrack

    And there's a version of The Shining Path here - http://thepumpkins.net/music/893-music-zwan-glass-house

    Reason why none of the Zwan stuff was released is because after they broke up, Billy put the tapes away in a box because they made him "sick" to listen to. Although, I think he did say that he's free to release them under the new reissues program next year when Warner's rights to them expire. So maybe his feelings have changed since then. We can only hope.
  • another one of my pc crash list. if anyone has these tunes.......

  • Oh wow, I remember hearing about this in the DVD that came with my CD album set, but forgot all about it. Listening to the entire thing now. Pretty awesome!! I thought I was a pretty deep collector of this man's music, but somehow missed this!

    hard to say. Billy doesn't always sing on DZ stuff, like the Iron Maiden cover they did. It's more folk rock stuff than Zwan. from wiki:

    Djali Zwan, an acoustic incarnation of Zwan, which also featured cellist Ana Lenchantin, was to film and record the making of a new album in the studio in the fall of 2003, with an album and DVD to be issued in early 2004. Corgan spoke with Rolling Stone about his plans: "We're going to do it Let It Be-style," Corgan said, referring to the documentary about the 1970 Beatles album. "The album would be recorded live, with the cameras rolling. When you get the DVD, you can watch the takes on the album being done." He described the songs he'd written for Djali Zwan as "more folk-driven, rooted in traditional music. I don't want to compromise veins of material to fit into an electric band, which I often did in the Pumpkins. With Djali Zwan, I can write an acoustic song and not worry how it's going to stand up against some rock epic."[5] Billy Corgan, Linda Strawberry, and Matt Sweeney came together to create the soundtrack for the movie Spun, directed by Jonas Åkerlund, and were credited as The Djali Zwan.
