I've got this on repeat right now. I was never a huge fan of this song, but this version makes the Newcastle bootleg very worth it...

I'm not too fond of this one. Just seems a bit out of place sandwiched between Thumbing and Footsteps. Always loved the acoustic version, electric guitars kind of kill it.

I loved acoustic version, how eddie sings it and Bob Dylan's amazing lyrics. I also enjoyed the one played in newcastle. It was nice to hear the cool electric guitar solo, it made the song different! Both versions are cool! :D

i was lucky enough to be 4th row centre at newcastle and Masters of War was sung with alot of venom and intensity - great great version!
  • I have been showing this particular song of the boot to so many people. It is definately the best i have heard and to see the fierce look on Ed's face when he sung it was incredible. Was up the front and i won't forget a second of it.It's good that people have also appreciated this version..

They really tore it up at Bridge 2 this year. Very raw and very fierce. There is a boot of both Bridge nights that is good quality. Search for it and you'll be very happy. I have forgotten where I downloaded it from, but it's one of the few common bootleg sights.

    Cheers

I take this back. After listening to it a few times I have to say this rendition urinates on Benaroya. The slide guitar and the pounding drums work a treat. Electric guitars kill it, yes, but it sounds so good plummeting on down to hell!
