International AIDS Conference

So as many might know this past week, the International AIDS conference took place in Washington DC.

I didn't really read alot out there about this so decided to just remind people that while there are many issues out there facing this world, lets try not to forget that people are still dying and LIVING with HIV and AIDS.

I was not able to go thsi year but wanted to share a photo that my boss took.

Interesting article. I usually don't post stuff about HIV but was really upset that i didn't see anything in the news about this.

I guess it is not as popular as before.

Thanks for posting these. I saw news stories every day during the conference and was impressed there was that much coverage, even if it wasn't front page news. Important to note that it was the first International AIDS Conference in the U.S. since the ban was lifted on HIV+ persons entering the country.

Most of the news stories I saw focused on curing HIV and not just treating it. I was glad to see the emphasis.
