A woman that was injured suffered a miscarriage.

    Quite sad. What an extraordinary amount of grief for that woman to lose her 6 year old daughter and to suffer a miscarriage of her pregnancy, not to mention her own horrible physical injuries.

    Holmes was indicted on 24 counts of 1st degree murder just earlier today. Two counts for each of the twelve people that died and 116 counts of attempted murder.

    Yes - same woman :(. I know for a long time they hadn't told her that her daughter died, out of fear of how it would impact her recovery. I don't know if she knows yet. There were 142 charges in total. So sad.

    Agreed; I simply can't fathom that kind of loss.

    And I felt so bad for my knowing - for the whole country knowing - that she lost her first child before even she was told. Seemed wrong, but unavoidable, I guess.

    I hope justice comes swiftly.
