Reid Hypocrisy

Since we like to make threads on hypocrisy here on the Train, I thought I would throw one out there that was specific and didn't blanket an entire group of people.
Harry Reid argued all the way up to 2010 that he wanted a fed audit.
He has since stated that the bill he claimed he has pushed for since 1987 is basically DOA.
I realize very few care on here about the fed, but this speaks to a larger point about Harry Reid....he is self-serving at best and shouldn't be in charge of anything...I wonder what he was promised to kill the bill without so much as a vote.

that’s right! Can’t we all just get together and focus on our real enemies: monogamous gays and stem cells… - Ned Flanders

"Well, you tell him that I don't talk to suckas."
lol
got that right
"I was before it before I was against it"
gotta love it. I am just really surprised that someone who was for it when he ran for re-election in 2010 is not against it and won't even bring it up for a vote

it is easy to go on and on and on about how you are for something when you think that that opportunity to vote on it is never going to arise. now that the vote has passed the house and reid is going to have to vote on it he is thinking "holy crap, i never thought this was going to happen" and now he doesn't want to have to try to put his money where his mouth is.
i think it is like playing poker. you can bluff all you want and get away with it and "it's all kool and the gang", until you get called on it.. then it sucks.

the weird thing is he didn't just talk about it...he INTRODUCED bills for years to audit the fed...mind-blowing...My guess is even if this was passed the president would veto it. There vail of secrecy that allows the house of cards to continue will remain intact.
