Now I have you with me, under my power
Our love grows stronger now with every hour
Look into my eyes, you will see who I am
My name is Lucifer, please take my hand
Of my innocence... got back my inner sense...
One of the best songs of all time: http://youtu.be/DW3pZjmS3rg
Don't you post enough to know this should be in Other Music?
love this song!

Start with the greatest hits album I would say. We have an FYE here and you can usually find it used for 5 or 6 bucks on disc.
I figured I'd just let the mods do it.
I respectfully disagree. I would recommend these two (which are their first two albums).
Black Sabbath
Paranoid
If you like these, report back for more recommendations.

Waiting...patiently.
I haven't heard the first and third. Only samples.
Ozzy's albums were all great apart from Never Say Die, and most of Volume 4.
If seen as a 'come back' album with RJD, then Heaven and Hell was pretty classy.
Good luck and enjoy.......
Their third, "Master of Reality", is a classic album. Very doomy, and dark... more so than the two albums before it. Enjoy, it's a superb yet simply album.

It was a huge influence on the grunge era bands. Can't wait to listen to it.
That is pretty damn cool! One show I would see if I could go back in time for is a Sabbath show in the 70's.

Better than I was expecting but it didn't set the world on fire. I thought the single was awful but the album is worth a listen if nothing else. They were never gonna create anything close to their classics but this album hasn't brought any shame on them or their name. I have tickets to see them in December, can't wait
Took me 4 or 5 listens, but I really like it. Probably nothing on par with songs like Children of the Grave or Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, but most of the record after repeated listenings is pretty darn close, IMO. Damaged Soul is my personal favorite.
