So after 45+ years of living in the NY Tri-State Area, my family and I are picking up roots and hitting the road, with two dogs and my daughter (boys coming later)...
Very meloncholy... It's been a long time coming but things have a reason for happening.
The house we are moving to is really great but a huge difference to what I am leaving.
So will post pictures on the road and hopefully will make it in one peace...

I hope you have a fun trip on the way to your new home! Bringing the animals is a challenge but I have good memories of our drive down to Florida now.
My husband and I each had a son as a co-pilot in our cars and, in my station wagon, I had two guinea pig cages and a chinchilla cage in the back. Luckily, cell phones make road communication easy between the cars.

Now's the perfect time to de-practice (unpractice? Unlearn?) any driving skills you've ever had...In order to fit in in Miami, of course. (but you already know that I bet)
