So I'm trying to import my personal CDs to my
iPhone so that I'm not having to buy albums repeatedly
In order to listen to them from my phone.
The COMPUTER says the cd is added to my iTunes
listing, but it doesn't show up as having been added
to the PHONE'S playlist... Please tell me what I'm
doing wrong here??? Do I need an app to convert non-
purchased songs and albums?(seems I heard you may have
to do this).... Thanks for any help. Truly stumped here..
It should be so simple

Hm, that may sound a bit silly, but have you actually moved them from your computer iTunes list to your phone? Having imported them to your computer doesn't mean that they are automatically on your phone. You can mark them and then drag them over to your phone playlist. That's how I do it and I have transferred a lot of my cds to my phone and ipod. But maybe I misunderstood you :)

So how do I drag them to the phone playlist.
I used to have just a regular MP3 player, and it
Was so easy to import to.. This is like try to read
blueprints for a rocket ship I swear!! And no you
Understood me correctly.. I have only gotten that far..
maybe I'm too stupid to own a smart phone!! LMAO!!

I also think that this is very inconvenient - other mp3 players handle import, export and sharing so much easier!

Ok, this is how you do it: You have connected the phone to the computer, and you should see it in your iTunes on the left (in the "explorer" kind of list). On top of that list on the left is the iTunes library of your computer. Click that and on the right, select the songs you want to transfer by clicking on them. You can select multiple songs by using the crtl button when you select (at least on a windows pc). Once they are all marked, drag them over to the phone. A little + sign should appear there. Then release the mouse button and the songs will be transferred.

This might help as well: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1535

    You can do it!
