Met Jack Johnson today

In an Apple Store in Santa Barbara. Probably one of the most humble, down to earth people I have ever met. I just told him that my favorite song is Constellations, especially when he does it with Eddie. :)

    sounds about right to me. I get the impression Jack is exactly what he is portrayed as. Just a typical guy, who plays guitar and surfs. I dont get the impression he is living in a mansion with 3 bmws and a chaueffer. I am still blown away by the fact he donated 100 perfect of tour profits from his last 2 tours, in 2008 and 2010 i think or maybe 2011, anyways, all of the profit went to various charities and his charity. So he essentially played for free on every single tour date for two years plus. Thats insane. and these werent 4 date tours. They were long, 50 dates for the 2010 tour.

    I hear his studio is state of the art, environmentally friendly.

    I think you're exactly right. Just a regular cool dude who is insanely charitable and generous. I have seen him twice in concert and for such chill relaxing music he really knows how to entertain the crowd.

    His studio is solar powered so it does not rely on an outside source for electricity.
    He who forgets will be destined to remember.
