Have not watched 1 inning of 1 game yet this year.
Can only name 4-5 guys on the entire roster.

    Geez

Looks like they scored more touchdowns today than the Bears normally score.
    This weekend we rock Portland

Hendricks, Heyward, and Contreras left from world series team.
The worst of times..they don't phase me,
even if I look and act really crazy.

Just won their first series yesterday since… the first series of the year.
These guys are kinda fun to watch, most of the time. Happ had a great start. Contreras is on a tear as of late. I’m sure we’ll trade them both come July.

It's at least a sign that winter is coming to an end, so there's that.

I don't expect much this year. But I always look forward to the greatest sport in the universe.

    Anyone remember Brant Brown?
I totally remember that on Sept. 23, 1998. I was watching batting practice for Mets-Expos at Shea and they were showing the Cubs game on the scoreboard at the time. The Mets lost to the Expos 3-0 because they couldn't hit Carl Pavano and ended the season on a five-game losing streak to finish one game behind the Cubs

I don't know why I continue to do this to myself. These clowns had a 6-0 lead in the 6th. I just don't know why I continue to do this to myself.

Suzuki plays solid defense for 2 straight years. And tonight he decides to turn in to Brant Brown.

His last 3-5 steps he is waiving Bellinger off.
    Just a brutal error.

    And I'm still pissed off.

I watched the Reds game last week where Hunter Green had his best ever game, 13 KS, 1 run, was dominant.  Bullpen blew it.  We would have been .5 out.
None of these teams past Philly are very good, which is why they make the fans want to throw stuff st the TV.
The love he receives is the love that is saved
  • Taillon on the mound tonight?
    Prediction

    Atlanta 17
    Cubs 3

I like 6-5 Braves in overtime. (I call it overtime because of the runner on second to start the inning)

Why do I do this to myself.
From ESPN STats and Info: The Cubs have now lost 5 games this month after holding a lead in the 8th inning or later. That's tied for their most such losses in any single month over the last 50 seasons (June 1991 & September 1992).

  • This should be a fun week here in Chicago.
Get to watch the Cubs lose 5 straight going into Sunday.
Then on Sunday I get to switch back and forth from the Cubs and the Bears.
And if that's not enough to make someone question every decision they have ever made in life....
Then I don't know what is!
