***official I Need One Vic Ticket***

Hey I was thinking we should just have one "I need a VIC ticket thread" - it seems like the board is cluttered with them.

Let's keep them here...I'll be first on the list : )

    Thanks for the idea of one thread. I'm getting blurry-eyed from trying to read so many threads and search for any "Available tix" messages. I am on the 10C's official waiting list as is my best Pearl Jam buddy and I am not giving up hope totally on that. I just wanted to cover my bases by requesting any extra tix for us both to come up and enjoy the show of the year with people equally passionate for Pearl Jam. Take care and good luck to all of you still looking for tickets. Congrats to you lucky ones who will be there for sure!

    Hey I'll jump on your thread. Here's my "official" pitch from a different thread

    I'm a huge PJ fan with at hundreds and hundreds of bootleg shows (including ALL the official releases from 2000-2006) I was lucky enough to be handed a tambourine from Eddie at the Chicago House of Blues show in 2005 which is proudly displayed in my condo. That should tell you that I KNOW how to get to the front of the pit!!! (I see a lot of posts where this is a priority!!)Google "pearl jam house of blues free world" and watch a video showing the visual proof for yourself!!! (it's about 4 and half minutes into the song).

    I'm self-employed with a small income tax business so I have a COMPLETE flexible schedule and can wait in line however long is needed, hit a Cubs game with you on that Friday to watch Ed do the seventh inning stretch, WHATEVER. I also live on Sheffield right down the block between the Vic and Wrigley Field (right by the field 3 blocks from the Vic). I'll wait in line, pick you up from an airport, give you a place to crash, whatever!

    I have a fridge that's always stocked with beer/booze. I also have a small group going to the Lolla show on Sunday...

    I have a lot to offer, let me know what you're looking for and we can work something out. If there's no tickets out there, let me know if you want to hang around the theater thursday...I know a lot of hot spots in the area or we can "camp" on the street with a cooler and some chairs. Hell I'll bring a boombox if we can't hear the band inside!!

    Anyone know what the ratio is of people scoring extra tickets to those who actually need them is (from the pit). Just curious what the chances are hanging out here begging is? Worth it?

    im coming from maui for lollapalooza. it would be quite the treat to be able to see them twice while in chicago. i was working when tickets went on sale so had no chance. any help would be super, cant wait for this weekend. my email is igotshit82@yahoo.com. thanks.

    I've counted four miracles given out on the pit so far. versus at least 2 dozen "solid" people who "need" one.

    i am coming from long island
    here's what i have to offer in exchange for selling me your extra ticket:

    i have a room at Club Quarters, Central Loop, with an extra bed (less than half mile from grant park). stay with me for no charge; i have the room from thurs through monday.

    i also have almost any shows, pj or otherwise that you might want on cds.

    i would be willing to part with any posters i own,
    and any 10c xmas single i own. (let me know if you're interested and i'll give you lists.)

    i can also trade LPs of ten, vs, no code, self titled, lost dogs, riot act and vitalogy.

    i will gladly buy you food and beer and posters and shirts and whatever else you need for the weekend.
