    I can handle the sun just fine...I just can't handle the 85 one day and then rain and thunder storms the next then sun for 3 days, then rain for another 3 days.

    yeah our grass is dying as well. corn & soybeans are still green. we've had plenty of rain actually. but yeah a scorching sun will brown one's grass.

    with the heat index it's been something like 110 degrees or some shit

    steaming (i laughed @ mr. diamond's comments :lol: ) mccready needs some frickin rain for his cuds' ball field & his tomaters & other veggies & weed patch

    104 is the high today in Des Moines --- we need rain really bad. I think it is so hot that it actually is raining but the rain is evaporating before it gets to us.

    We have nothing but rain here. There's lots of talk about webbed toes amongst the locals. We need some sun badly, my veggies are crying out for it.

    Same somehow here. It's been raining every day this week, even multiple times, and really hard. This is no summer, a little sun in between would be nice. However, constant heat and humidity and no rain must be a pain in the ass :? I hope everybody gets what they want and what their plants need soon ...

    So far, we're sitting at 58 Minutes above 80 degrees this "Summer" with double our normal precipitation in June
