Drought of 2012

So this is officially the worst drought of our generation and the worst since 1956. If it wasn't for improvements and farm techniques and all the evil bio-engineered seed, it would be a dust bowl right now.

Corn crop is officially screwed in most parts. Soybeans have a chance if it rains, but the forecast doesn't look hopeful.

All you city folk, listen up, ya hear! Start buying your food in bulk cause prices are going up this fall (is that an oxymoron?).

That is just liberal fear-mongering. There is no drought...

Ironically, it started raining for the first time in weeks as soon as I posted this thread. :fp:

    It has stopped already. ;)

Well, on the positive side, I have not needed to mow my lawn since May.

I think Yellowstone shares a similar memory of that year...

I visited there on a family vacation a week before the '88 fire. I went back a few years ago and was amazed at the damage.

25 years later and still... And the rocky mountain forests are even more primed to go up in flames now.

If you think about it. Global warming has been on an incredible increase since PJ basically stopped touring. Now, I'm not saying they have the power to cool the planet just by playing shows, but we don't really know that for a fact now do we? Only one way to find out, PJ...
