Rainbow

Driving in the car we saw something unusual yesterday
unbelievably, it was a full arch rainbow over the road
now, we HAVE seen these in Florida before
in fact, I have several arches in pictures
miles wide of course!!
but THIS one was special because not only was it complete
but the boys and I actually saw the end of it (!!) when we turned off the main road
in front of the car. It was about five feet wide.
I don't think the pictures will do it justice, but, we all saw it!!

I was just saying moments ago I have not seen a rainbow in so long.

Out in Colorado as a girl, high above the world,
I saw a double arch just like this touching the ground where we stood.

It's like seeing a lilly pad, seems like something from a storybook picture.
Takes one right back to childhood.

I like the colors here :D

    beautiful!

Here are the pictures. They aren't very attractive but you can see the end of the rainbow in the road. It seems to be mostly yellow! :)

(One picture is through the window and one isn't. That's why there's water in one and not the other!)

I like the water shot! 8-)
    I can feel the action!

Seeing where the pot of gold would be there ... why it is mostly yellow

Very nice justam glad you got to experience that, it's a feel good that lasts. :D

thank you, justly. very good picture.

i once drove through a rainbow's end/beginning just like this here. it was directly in the road and onto the shoulder. it was incredible. everything was yellow when i went through it. i was excited about it just like you are. this was inbetween westport & aberdeen washington one afternoon on my way to work.

I remember driving on a stretch of road where the rainbow's end was right in front of me for a mile or two. And it was a windy hilly road too.

    Very strange and exciting!
