    Nothing local? really? Last time I was in chicago it was May and I was drinking this kickass local IPA.. I am surprised (disappointed) they dont get in on the action.. never the less, I heard this is a great time and cool thing.. Maybe next summer..

    I sat in Grant Park today..
    Had a FUCKING BLAST with my 2 nephews, and 10-15 complete strangers heaving a football around.
    Tossed a frisbee around...
    Laid on a blanket, and listened to some music...
    Walked around(NOT DEALING WIYH ANY CROWDS) and ate like a fucking pig.

    How the fuck is that a bad time?

    the times i've gone, it's just been too many people and too much greasy garbage food that is over priced.

    i'd rather go find a good restraunt, relax and eat good food in comfort.

    I have always told my friends, who also HATE the Taste...

    When we showed up this morning (exactly at 11 when they opened) We had the entire park to ourselves...
    And we had that entire park to ourselves for a few hours...
    We heaved a football ALL over the place (never once scared of hitting some poor passer-by)

    Get there early
    Play early
    Eat early
    Then when the crowds get big between 4-6? Get the FUCK out of there!!

    It seems to work out good.

    i think the last time we went for food was back in 06 or 07, we were there around 1-3+- and it was still packed.

    i don't find the food to be tasty. the only good things were the crayfish, and i hate them. :lol:

    the highlight of the taste was a couple of years ago, saw drive by truckers with booker t...that was good....

    So the place got packed with half naked, 20-25yr old ladies, wearing their cowboy boots...
    Which is ALWAYS a GOOD TIME!!!!!
