My girlfriend has never watched it. We started it last night. So cool getting to watch it with someone for the first time.

    Just watched Sunday's episode.

    Wow!

I knew as soon as Hank called Marie something was gonna go down. I really didn't expect the gang to come out and take them out. 100 bullets fired, some from high powered rifles, and nothing? :fp:

I bet Gomez dies and Hank lives. I can see Walt getting out and stopping it whereby saving Hank's life. Jesse will live too...at least for a little while.

    Awesome fn show!!!

Same, a final goodbye and I love you to her, so sad.

So, I now have Netflix. I have every single episode of Breaking Bad available to me.
Up until 2 weeks ago I had NEVER watched one episode.
I have now watched the 1st 4 episodes.

I can safely say, I now understand why people went crazy over this show.

But I am going to take my time, and only watch 1 or 2 episodes a week.
No reason for me to rush through this.
That is how I watched. I picked up Netflix and found the show. My intention was the same as yours. Then you watch an episode and it ends and you want to go to bed and you say "fuck it, one more episode"
Yesss, just like that) best show ever (with twin peaks)

Well this is awesome.  Based on that short description it sounds like this will follow Jesse after he escaped at the end.  I'm in the middle of re-watching the series again right now....best TV show ever.

Read that yesterday too. It sounded like a pretty long shot based on the details from Gilligan, but we'll see.

I too, am in the middle of a full re-watch. It is amazing how great the show became once they hit their stride in season 3. I'm in the middle of season 4 right now.

Loved the show, but the only thing that keeps it from being he best show ever was every season had 1 or 2 episodes that drug out and slowed it down too much. For that reason, it's top 10 and not #1.

It was just about a perfect show.  The fact that it is Vince Gilligan that is doing this movie makes me think it will be good....he would never force anything that wouldn't make sense for the BB/BCS universe.  It makes sense now why he wasn't heavily involved in this past season of Better Call Saul since he was obviously writing this movie...I had kept reading that he was busy with "other projects".

I'm good with no movie too.  Every show was an hour and well paced (unlike Saul), I don't know if I need a huge story in 90 minutes.

I prefer the potential Sopranos potential route, using people referenced but not really in the show

I couldn't care less about movie.... All I really want is to go back in time so that I could watch Breaking Bad for the first time again. Anything less than that isn't doing it for me.

I can't wait until Jesse stops by the Cinnabon in Nebraska and buys a cinnamon roll from Cinnabon Gene.
    Alright, alright, alright!

Honestly, you should do a re-watch. It's amazing how much you forget about the show. Yes, I know where it is going, but the finer details and subtleties really make it seem fresh.

Yep.  So many little things that you notice when re-watching.  I've re-watched certain episodes a few times but this is my 3rd time doing a full re-watch and it is wonderful.  Season 4 with Walt vs. Gus is one of the best single seasons of TV ever.

I know my second time thru the series, not only did I find myself picking up more details but I also found myself not rooting for Walt.  First time thru I think everyone is rooting for him - how's he going to get out of the situation this week? What obtacles does he have to overcome? Can he win again? Etc.  The second time through it's more of what a fucking asshole this guy is! You start seeing things more from everyone else's points of view and see how really terrible a person Walt is.  First viewing is like Hooray, Walt wins, fuck everyone!  Second viewing is much more empathetic to those affected by his actions.

I have rewatched it 3 times, lol, and am about due for a 4th I guess. I loved each time, and yeah, I always rewatch great series so that I get all the detail I miss the first time around (some series I've watched as many as 5 times over the years!), but the first time is the only time I didn't know what was going to happen and when I actually get surprised and shocked and everything, so that's always the best watch. :)
