    BREAKING: The Senate struck a deal to fund a large portion of the government, just a day before a shutdown deadline.

    The Daylight Act of 2026, introduced by Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL) earlier this month, calls for our clocks to slide forward a half hour from where they are now, and for the twice-annual clock changes to end.

    House Republicans just rejected the Senate’s bipartisan DHS funding bill the one that would have ended the partial government shutdown and finally paid TSA agents who’ve been working without paychecks for over 40 days.

    Speaker Johnson called the Senate deal “a joke” and said House Republicans will push their own version instead. The Senate has already left town for a two-week recess. Meanwhile, nearly 500 TSA officers have quit. Call-out rates are topping 40% at some airports. Lines are chaos.

    You’re already paying for TSA. Congress just decided to spend your money on other things. And now they won’t pass a bill to pay the agents either.

    Lindsey Graham responds after photos show him at Disney World

    Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) responded to photos of him at Disney World over the weekend in the midst of a partial government shutdown. 

    Graham was seen at the theme park in Florida on Friday and Saturday with a bubble wand while waiting in line to get on the Space Mountain ride. 

    “I was invited to a meeting in South Florida on Friday with Trump official Steve Witkoff … to talk about the possibility of normalization between Saudi Arabia and Israel,” Graham told TMZ in a statement, which was also shared with The Hill.
