Wish me luck!

I'm probably about 30 minutes from submitting my paperwork for promotion. If you can send me your positive vibes and cross your fingers for me, I would really appreciate it. :D The first step is being placed on the "Best Qualified" list by a panel of managers (I'll find out if I made it in August). Then it's up to the selecting official to select the individuals he wants to promote from that list. Assuming I make the first list, I'll find out whether or not I get it in late September. Wish me luck! :)

I hate doing all this paperwork :crazy: but it'll be out of my hands soon...

    Funny, I'm actually updating my resume at the moment, and this was the first thread I saw on my little forum break from all that fun.

    I like your attitude - once you get the paperwork completed and turned in, it's out of your hands. It's a bit of a wait until September to find out one way or another, but nothing you can do until then so why sweat it?!

    Thanks all! I saw and fixed some minor errors in my essays and resubmitted the package literally 30 seconds before the deadline. I believe it was all your positive vibes that led me to find and fix it! :D
