Does anyone still listen to these guys? I dont myself, Havent listened to them since my high school days. Seemed like they were the biggest band in the world around 2001 and 2002. I appreciate alternative rock radio in 2012 for catchy songs, but thats about it.

I sort of like Chesters voice how he can scream his head off and then also make it vulnerable and delicate like on Crawling.

Loved these guys back in 01 through about 06. After that 06 album came out with that U2 ripoff song I kinda threw in the towel.

I liked their first album, their second album was good but I really loved and still love their third album, Minutes To Midnight. Everything else is just boring, I've stopped caring about new music from them a long time ago.

I used to love them back when it was just their first and second album. I still listen to them from time to time. I'm going to see them and Incubus this summer, should be a really good show.

Like most everyone else I liked their first two albums a lot. Third one was a let down, didn't bother picking up their fourth album and most likely won;t be getting their latest album.

Nobody's Listening is my fav song form them:

I used to be a fan of their first album. I saw them on the Day-off-fest (Day off from Ozzfest) and they were horrible. Seemed to be one of those groups where they only sound good on their album. Now they just sound like pop-rock. Not a fan

whilst i respect your opinion, its not true they only sound good on their albums. perhaps you caught them on an off night(every band has them).

hmmm i hear this more than i care for.. but i know chester can sing cause ive heard him... lnkn pk's music may not always lend itself to the melodic but i know he can do it. a lot of lnknpk music is angry and perhaps thats why it doesnt come through... but its there. but its ok you dont get it cause if we all liked the same music the world would be as dull as dishwater. ;)8-)

Same here. Loved the first 2 albums and saw them live a few times. Haven't really listened to their last 2 albums....the little that I heard was just more of the same.

Chester does get a bad rap of just screaming his head off, but he actually does have some good vocal range.

I have been a fan for a long time. My son also is a big fan, we saw them in Philly last tour, from the very front in the GA section, they sounded great live.

Their last album, Thousand Suns, I really like a lot, I think it's brilliant, I like listening to the whole album, it all fits together.

My son and I will be seeing them in Camden next month and doing the LP Summit meet and greet.

Emily Armstrong of the band Dead Sara is their new co-lead singer. Interesting choice, I'm not familiar with her at all though.
New single, The Emptiness Machine". New album drops Nov. 15th.

I watched part of the live stream earlier, just didn't feel it.. I think the song writing will be great, no Chester, no LP IMO. Some of the members didn't come back as well.. I think 3 original only are back?

EDIT - The single sounds pretty good, she sounds good on it. Maybe it was just hearing it live didn't really hit with me, not sure how long her voice can hold up on a tour, I guess we'll see. Looking forward to see what the rest of the album has.

I love the new single but I wasnt sure after then listening to live stream that her voice can hit the same level Chester did. It sounded off in a few parts. Im not 100% convinced but will give another listen as I loved Linkin Park. Pretty crazy that they announced a mini world tour date thats what 2 weeks away- crazy- now thats a last minute tour
