Highs: Getting to attend four shows-Manchester 1 and 2, and Amsterdam 1 and 2, and loving each show, as they were all so special! Hearing some of my favorite songs for the first time-Footsteps, I Got Shit, Crown of Thorns, Present Tense!! :D Meeting some great fans who love PJ like I do!

Lows: Sitting very far from the stage at Amsterdam 1, and not feeling swept up in the excitement of the crowd.
Also, hubby getting beer thrown all over him during "I Got Shit" (Amsterdam 2) and me missing most of the song as I tried to calm him down. Since it's one of my favorite songs, I sure hope for the opportunity to hear it again sometime!

I just want to know where the hell all of u traveling members get the $$$ for this tour? I mean shit, isn't the world In a recession? Dnt get me wrong, it's sickkkkk that u lucky fucks got to go but didn't know theyres that many 1% in this club!! Lol

Great user name btw. Rock for light is one of my favourite records ever!

It wasn't super expensive really and I did 4 shows. Tickets were £200 (approx £50 each for each one. Booked well in advance for Manchester so the train was £20 return to London and hotel was £20 for 2 nights.

Flights to berlin were about £100 return and the hotel was about £125 for 4 nights.

Not a ridiculous amount of money really!

Shit, I should've "pay to cum" then!!! Hahaha
It would've cost a lot for me, fly out from east coast, hotel, tix, train tix, food, merchandise, etc...I keep telling myself someday I'm gonna win the lottery and move to Barcelona to watch the greatest football team in the world and travel EVERYWHERE PJ tour!!! Still waiting on the winning ticket!
East Coast + Bad Brains = CoooooL
saw them once only at stone pony NJ...HR once...HR is in orbit

I have attended Berlin1 and Stockholm, both were great shows (they always are  ).
My high was definitely "In my tree" at Berlin1 as I love that song and had never heard it before in a live version - great stuff!.
Low was definitely the Stockholm crowd, never seen a more unresponsive audience; although the guys on stage looked in great form, only the first 10 (max 15) rows on the floor were actively participating while the great majority of the people in the stands sat still for the whole concert, best they could do was clapping when their excitement level was at the top. There were even people wearing earplugs, never seen anything like that!!!

    Keep on rockin'...

Unresponsive audience?? Crazy talk!! I was right in front of Ed and spent the majority of the concert trying to stay alive, ended up getting pulled out on the brink of consciousness into the hands of Boothy...I thought they were really responsive and super agressive!!

Pardon, should have read the rest of your post - apparently I was in the wrong spot....ah-hem! :)

I don't know about the rest of the audience in stockholm, didn't really look back, but the mood up front was great! and what's wrong with wearing earplugs? I had mine in for all 10 shows I did, as long as you buy a decent product and not the foam ones the sound's still good, and I'm going to need my ears for a lot more concerts in the future.. ;)

  • It was my first tour meeting other Ten Clubbers...other times i'd taken friends a long to 'the church'. The pits in Amsterdam 2 and Berlin 1 and 2 were intense. A few people passed out, one I had to drag out of the pit because they couldn't get out. Berlin 1 I had been stabbed in the body with more erections then a porno.

I got to spend almost a month in Europe seeing 3 Pearl Jam shows and 2 mini festivals.

The lows....spending the 3+ thousand dollars flying from Australia....
