You're half wrong bro, although the Vic boot is no where to be found (yet or as far as I know) seperate tracks of the Lolla set were available here this morning, forget which thread. It's good stuff. I am listening to it right now!

Funny thing is, i just got in. It pisses me off b/c we were flooded by vic ticket threads for a week, now we're flooded by vic bootleg threads, and everyone's so impatient. Before this year, before bootlegs became such a big part of our electronic existence, there was the 2 week grace period. It seems like that's totally out the window now.

Yeah, it started i noticed during the European tour, and then with the Vic fan club only show, people went over the edge.

I wouldn't at all mind if the tapers held out for longer, just to make a point.

I'm happy, elated even, to wait for 2 weeks to get a bootleg of an awesome show - we wait for months after the group has stepped out of the studio...If we don't hold studios to such a strict time frame for release, why should we expect someone doing it in their own time to release it only days after.

I think people that were lucky enough to go to these concerts (and get a recording) should have the chance to sit down and listen to it over a few beers, before feeling like they ought to upload for the masses.

Thanks for the show I'm Gone, I hope you enjoyed listening to it before you uploaded it. We all appreciate your work and everyone else that contributes.

The people who actually tape shows, and others who spend large amounts of their time uploading shows, such as LeatherMosquitoMan, are the ones who care. Because if it wasn't for guys like him, you wouldn't have these shows to listen to full fucking stop.

So maybe the next time some dickhead comes on here demanding a boot of the show he or she went to, instead they could find the bootleg themselves and upload it for others. Better yet they could tape the show themselves.

It is appreciated for certain, I appreciate it as much as anyone, although I'm sure some folks feel entitled and it can rub the ones who do the work the wrong way when they believe it is being demanded.

My point is, just don't be so damned sensitive about it. Folks may be impatient and some of them may be the same ones who wouldn't be willing to cross the street to help someone else, but when it come right down to it, those who don't tape are at the mercy of those who do.

It is appreciated by most everybody, but jumping on the poor fellow who started the thread was totally uncalled for in my opinion, he meant no harm. Just chill out a bit

i've downloaded the mp3's here and mike is barely hearable in some songs (like sad), should i bother downloading the flacs? i know the quality is better but it probably won't make a difference on volume levels, would it?

p.s. please don't take it like i'm being ungrateful. i really appreciate the taper. the aggression in this thread scares me

edit: nevermind, i just downloaded sad from the flac files and it doesn't make any difference. at least to me. thanks for the mp3s btw
