I saw 7 shows last year and heard Crazy Mary once.  Heartbreaking.

That song needs to be played twice every show IMO.

Strangest Tribe. Believe it was on the setlist for Chicago 13 but got cut due the weather delays. Right behind it was Fatal, but caught it at Missoula 18.

I wish they'd open with, "You Are."  In Baltimore, if I'm already dreaming!

They never have, to my knowledge.

Would be SUCH a killer slow starter; kinda like Pendulum.

They have played You Are a total of 6 times since Nov 2015.

    I wouldn't hold my breath.

Reckon white whales are generally more album tracks as others are b-sides and rarities (obviously a few exceptions here with State, Ledbetter etc).

A few for me: Oceans, Deep, Glorified, Leash, Whipping, NAIS of the first six. I've only seen then nine times but am getting to the point of averaging three songs I haven't heard a night. Pity I could only make Fenway 2 in 2018 as I think there were some goodies on there, and the make up London gig would have been awesome were I still living in Europe.

The grass is always greener though. Reading some of these posts reminds me that even out of those nine I've seen some songs people would kill to see (hell both Merkinball tracks twice, Love Reign, HTI) so I'll try not to be a greedy bastard and appreciate what I have seen, and hope for instead of demand my white whales. I could bloody send Ed a full set of them.
I like this post. I've only been to eight shows and have witnessed "Let Me Sleep" twice - the same number of times as I've seen the band  perform "Jeremy!"
Of the albums tracks, my top 5 are:
    In My Tree (mentioned earlier)
Hail Hail (admittedly, I've seen it but not since 1998)
    Dissident
    Glorified G
    Deep
...Save You, Wash, Tremor Christ, Red Mosquito, and MFC (also saw that in 1998) would be awesome as well.
Crazy, I’ve seen Let Me Sleep 3 times in 7 shows...
that's insane. go get a lottery ticket! I've seen them 5 times, and no ledbetter. but every ten track except oceans.

this is a fantastic idea. I love it. ed could even pull that rockstar move of the rest of the band coming on and him coming on just a bit later when the lyrics start.

That immediately made me think of Layne walking out on Unplugged and sitting down to hit the first line of Nutshell. That blows me away every time I see it. It sounded like the studio version. Man that guy was amazing.. such talent.

Would be fun to see Ed do something like that

that show sounded so mind-blowingly amazing, I often wonder if there was any post-production studio trickery done for the release. it just sounds SO good.

YES!  Now you're getting my hopes up.. but that would be amazing.

Could you imagine, lights going down, people still getting situated, and you hear that guitar start?  Place would go nuts, I bet.

My favourite opener is Of the Girl,  but this would be phenomenal. I’ve played it out in my head a dozen times at work today. I saw You Are live in Krakow... it’s awesome live.
Maybe we need to start a “You Are - Killer Opener?” Thread lol

I don't care if they play it first, last, or in the middle, I just hope to hear this song one of these days. It's one of my favorites, super unique.

13 shows and I still haven't heard them play these songs live:
    1.) Garden
    2.) Rats
    3.) Satan's Bed
    4.) In My Tree
    5.) I Got Shit

Would love to hear any one of those, Trying for the NY/MSG show this year thinking it would be a good chance to catch one or two of these.

I missed full WMA and Inside Job at Columbia, 2008 as I had to turn around in the car for a family emergency (everything good though).

Got both in 2016 in Greenville and Chicago!

Now, Dirty Frank after experiencing that 2018 tease at Fenway!

Come on guys! Nashville or St. Louis!

I break this into 3 categories.

    1) the not likely--Strangest Tribe (my all time white whale song)
    2) the I've just missed it multiple times--All Those Yesterdays (often played the show before I see them, which means I'm not getting it)
    3) the song I most want to see another time--Oceans (saw it my second show ever, STL 1998.  50 shows more after that, zero)

Glorified G and Mankind. I love Glorified G, that and WMA are the only ones left to complete VS.
I don't get the hate for Mankind, I like that song. Every time I see Stone step up to sing I get excited, and then it turns out to be Dont Gimme No Lip or something.

Man of the hour... Played that song for my dad's funeral. Lots of deep personal meaning. I apologise for the dust in the air if anyone is near me if it's played at a show I'm at this tour ;)
