Just to let Ed know we're listening attentively to all his messages, and it's a personal obsession of mine, I'll post transcriptions of all improvs this tour in this thread. In the meantime, you can post favorite improvs from past shows (we can't possibly be familiar with all of them), just mention which show and which song.

Thanks, Tamar

To is a preposition.
Come is a verb.
To is a preposition.
Come is a verb.
The verb intransitive.
To come.
Did you come?
Did you come?
Did you come?
Did you come good?
Did you come good?
Did you come good?
You didn't come 'cause you didn't come...
Come on, come back, come around, come here, come near, come there, come everywhere...
Did you come?
Did you come?
To come.

    One of my favorites...

    **2003-05-02 - Buffalo - Wishlist**

You might wish you were me
I sometimes wish I was you
I sometimes wish I was Mike
I sometimes wish I was Boom
I wish that I was a disease, a disease called love and peace
I wish that I could spread to every person in the land
And I know that eventually, and I hope it will happen eventually
And I feel, I feel, feel; that it won’t happen without you and me
It'll take you and me, it'll take you and me
And more than me, it'll take you
And more than me, it starts with two
And then becomes ten; and then becomes ten thousand
and then becomes ten million; and then becomes ... the truth
the truth, the future, and the truth
    Come on truth…
    Seek for the truth…

Ed: “first were going to start off with a little jazz improv.”

    -10 second jazz improv-

Ed: “this next song is called, ah, it’s in the same vain as that last song and it’s called, ah, why did the toaster break the same day as my microwave, it go’s something like this.”

    -20 second jazz improve-

Ed: “toaster, that’s a fan favorite”

Funniest thing I’ve ever heard them do. You can hear people bustin’ up on the boot.

It's easier to read this than it was to hear it. Thanks for typing it up.
