    I'm only 31 years old but I still grew up watching the Andy Griffith show thanks to my mom, uncle and grandparents. He is the true definition of a legend. RIP.

    The Andy Griffith Show was on every afternoon at 5:00 (probably still is) when I was growing up in North Carolina. RIP
    I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

    And might I say, I've also had going 'round in my mind some old footage I saw awhile back (maybe from one of those funniest video shows?) of a parrot happily whistling the song.
