Oh why did I read that?
Why did I read that book this particular night?
I should have known a good book of songs was dangerous!
what type of idiot reads about emotion today?
It's much smoother to sound all calm and logical isn't it?
Despite the fact that reading old lyrics can make one cry and turn red
even dusty songs about love, devotion and wishful, forever promises
they can make you cry when you've had wishes too
it's one thing to decide and have reasons,
it's another to feel what "good-bye" actually means
tell me, how does one dare say good-bye when
there's still a song and a story that continues
to start anew?
