    I honestly am not sure what shade of green Mr Bloomberg is talking about. SUV's... green? Needing A/C when not in use... green? Am I missing something here???

    Seriously?? I don't get the idling your car and running the A/C thing that seems to be ok with so many people (and certainly Bloomberg's "alternative" isn't any better!). We are doing construction on I-65 here in downtown Louisville and when I went through there the other day (mind you, it was 105 that day, air quality alert day, etc) they have blocked access from I-65 to I-64 and I-71. They had signs saying you couldn't get on those 2 interstates and they had barricades blocking access but they still felt the need to have not one but two police cars sitting there also blocking access. Of course they were idling and running their A/C. WTF?!?! They were still there when we came through 4 hours later! Argh, such a pet peeve of mine!
    Are we getting something out of this all-encompassing trip?

    Seems my preconceptions are what should have been burned...
