Nothing like the Tour watching it till I go off to sleep. Just hope for a clean competitive race. One of my bucket list is to watch a stage race then ride the very same stage afterwards.

    WOW.

I felt bad for Teejay Van Gardian (spelling?) haveing to look after Cadel. He could have been up with Wiggens.

Good job Roland for winning after crashing on that decent!

    but yeah. Froome, holy crap!?

I'm a like Frank Schelek b/c we share the same first name so I was happy when he caught back up to Wiggnes around the 5 mile mark, but he couldn't hold on...

Definitely a great stage, ill be at work tomorrow, but till probably watch saturday's stage live 8-)

Wiggins quote about the tack droppers was pretty good: "there's enough police to hopefully find them and send them to a football match".

It's been impressive seeing Sagan hang in the climbs when usually the sprinters are hanging on the back trying to make the cut-off.

Sagan is amazing. I don't think he even realizes his talents yet. I knew he was going to be a force when I watched him ride the 2011 Tour de Suisse. Just amazing.

Me too! I'd like to do a stage that is around 85-100 miles with a few good climbs. I just hate the thought of shipping my bike to Europe. Or anywhere for that matter.

OK, just ended. Who the hell would throw tacks? Some people think they are funny but they are just idiots...

I was very glad the peloton sat up to wait for Cadel, very classy.

the crashes in the tour are starting to make this race unwatchable ... every year for the last few - the race has been dictated by absurd crashes that happen on flat open roads with nothing at stake really ... they need to have a plan because it's ridiculous ...

unless some guys can isolate wiggins tomorrow - this race is over ... has been since gesink and hesjedal crashed out ...
