    Heading to the NYC show :D Do people mosh at these shows? I want to be up close but if there's moshing I won't bother.

    I'm seeing them in February, can't wait! I do seem to recall seeing someone posting on here that they were so loud they had to stuff their ears with tissue, though - is  this really the case? Should I seriously bring tissue? It's not a problem for me so much, but my family are coming too and I wouldn't want them to hurt their ears. :) thanks. :)

    Yes, very loud :) I don't know how effective/comfortable tissue will be, but highly recommend these: http://www.amazon.com/Etymotic-Research ... =ear+plugs

    can't believe it was dinosaur jr plus members of the smiths, sonic youth and the pixies all in one show... would have killed to be there.
