ever have a total revelation, then feel like a total idiot after? ya, thanks for that.
Filling my flask is the most tedious, wasteful thing ever, but I never even thought of buying or rigging a funnel, let alone knowing these existed

(also, when I saw the 'frequently bought together' suggestion, I realized how cheap my brother in-law's groomsmen gift was...SOB spent $11 AND probably kept the funnel! )

I always go redneck and use a sandwich bag with a corner cut out. Works until the flask is filled.

I have never flasked. the woman's brother got me a flask for Christmas and now that I witnessed it's use last weekend I am seriously considering using it soon. and I had been wondering how you would go about filling it. but now seeing your post about the bag-funnel I am now confident that I could pull it off

ya that would work! That's why I feel like an idiot....could do it with a piece of paper too I'm sure...just never dawned on me to do it till I read 81's post. just did it over the sink and spilled an ounce or two every pour, and get it all over the flask, hand etc...
I've used mine quite a bit...good way to predrink without leaving any POW's at your friends' house
used to bring it to the bar too. should start again, it's fun to be cheap.
