So I get up at 3am and go to the Lakefront (Lake Michigan) and hope to catch some Jumbo Perch.
Well lets just say it was a good day (caught 40-50 fish)
So I get home with my cooler full of perch, go into the backyard and my neighbor says "Where did you get all the sun?" I set my cooler down, pull out a perch, and say "I was fishing today."

MY NEIGHBOR LEAPED OVER THE FENCE!!! hehehe

I swear to god..
He was like a little boy..
IT WAS FUCKING GREAT!!!

I have only known the man a couple years, how was I supposed to know he was a fisherman? His wife just smiled at me and said "You realize you have a fishing partner for now on." hehehehe

Then he sat in my yard with me and helped me kill, slice, and dice a WHOLE BUNCH OF FISH...

So safe to say next weekend, I have a new friend going fishing with me...

He was like a litte boy! I LOVE it!!

I'm a big fisherman myself. My friend just got a 2009 25' Boston Whaler Outrage..... Sick boat.

We go out of Jones Beach/Fire Island inlets on LI,NY..... We wreck fish, troll,drift etc. last week got 2 -30" Stripped Bass, 21 Sea Bass, and 12 porgies, and 2 fluke. His family came in from Europe this week for his wedding yesterday and we caught all those fish for them, since they eat a bunch in Croatia.

We go out at least twice a week from April- late Nov/ early Dec depending on the weather.

His new boat has outriggers so we are gonna do Tuna fishing later in the summer into fall... It's exciting but also you have to keep on your toes. We've gone on other peoples boats for tuna and it's a rush. You'll see a lot shit out in the "Canyons" 50-60 miles offshore on LI where the water is 1000-2000 ft deep as the shelf drops. Great whites, hammerheads, dolphins, whales.... It's pretty remarkable.

Fishing is terrific and it's cool if you can find someone to go with
