I am in need of a new turntable. The one I have I bought a couple years ago when I was short on cash and got a kind of crappy one. Now I want to buy a very good turntable, probably $400 max as of right now, but I'm open to all suggestions.

    I bought this several years ago and have been nothing but happy with it. Mine didn't have the USB connectivity that they do now, so there's another feature that might interest you as well. You'll see the reviews are pretty positive, too.

    Project debut or Rega RP1 are probably your best bets.
