It's 6 pm Central time USA and i think Absolute radio finally played three songs of PJ. and the announcers said the Twitter feed lit up with PJ. Guy announcer said Mike McCready was in heaven. So even British dj's think Mike is God ,too. In usual British dry humour, Guy announcer made a crack about how old they are, but gave them props for all having their hair, so they looked youthful. Where's Ben Jones when you need him! He would talk about the musical prowness, not make swipes about their age. Tom Petty is twice Eddie's age! And no remarks about his age were made.

Does Britain like PJ? I heard the whole entire crowd sing Learning to Fly back to Tom Petty, but i didn't hear much from the crowd when PJ sang.

Eddie praised the audience for camping in the mud and cold, and how well they were taking care of each other. He left saying Good night Goodbye during LedBetter. Radio played Alive. And More Pearl Jam will be played Sun.

I saw a button on Absloute home page about whole sets being played, so i would check that out tomorrow to hear the whole set.

In fairness, from the screens the crowd were into it - more than I expected them to be based on the crowd IYKWIM

I will never be able to hear YL without hearing the lovely Scottish guy behind me on Thurs night who a) demanded it and b) then demanded it on my behalf and we high fived and hugged when it started
