how close? If within a 3 hour drive, that is tough to bear
3 hour train on Amtrak. Not sure about miles or driving times. I could make it home in time for class on Monday too. $150 r/t train. $90 hotel for a couple hours.

i HATE to win like that.

i was there, and the obstruction was obvious to everyone in the stadium. had craig not been tripped and had to push his ass up off of the dirt, the play would not have been close.

    sorry sox fans.

if that had been at fenway and our 3rd baseman had interfered with your runner, i would have said the same thing.

it is still going to be a long and hard fought series.

I saw that as I was leaving a diner. Everyone started screaming at the tv.

it's doable, but the cost is the problem.

Damn Pearl Jam taking alot of our funds :D

I heard you on the cost of hotel for a few hours, I got a room in Pittsburgh and I was there for an hour before the show, and a little after before I crashed, costly :fp:

With the price of gas and tolls and parking I question whether driving would be cheaper.

funny moment from the Buffalo show

went to take a piss before the show, and they were pumping in the riff to Mind Your Manners over the PA in the bathroom, like literally the first 5 seconds, but it was on a loop, over and over, the opening riff, and I was thinking after about a minute, wtf, why don't they just play the whole fucking song, this is kinda annoying now.

As i hit the sink to wash my hands, I hear some drunk dude, obviously as annoyed as I was yell out "can they play the rest of the fucking song"

made me chuckle, I was a little baked too though

Lol, I was at a crowded restaurant that had it on a huge screen when that happened and it was absolute mayhem. Strangers started arguing with one another, even I got in on the act. I absolutely HATE to see shit like that happen though... it is just so unjust, and injustice absolutely drives me crazy in all its forms.... Also, this is not the first time I have said that I think calls should be able to be challenged in baseball just like goals can be in hockey.

Well okay, I know about that, but I thought that was just for illegal plays and shit, not for challenging whether or not a play was a touchdown, which is what I would equate to whether or not a player is safe or out..... :willshrug:

    Hockey!! :P
