Curious if anyone had any thoughts on this. Would love to track down a boot from that tour.

The best recordings of the tour are:

    8/14/95 Berlin
    8/18/95 Salzburg
    8/26/95 Dublin

Not sure what the best show is, in terms of performance.

Awesome. definitely something to work off of. It'll definitely be difficult to find an active torrent though.....

    Hi folks

This topic brings back so many memories. I was at the Reading Festival show on the tour. I was living in England and caught the train to Reading on my own without a ticket for the show. Was looking forward to a great line up but was really bummed out when I got to the Ticket hut to find out NOFX had cancelled. Nevermind I had Mudhoney, Soundgarden and Neil Young to look forward to. It was a really hot day and especially brutal down the front for Soundgarden. Lots of metallers beating on people for the sake of it. The crowd were really up for Neil and the band and l have to say that although the memories are a little fuzzy so many years on, my abiding memories are these

    1) Jeffs Dolphin blue/ green Bass (very OTT Jeffy!)
    2) Seeing Jack behind the Kit for the first time
    3) Brendan on the piano
    4) Neils acoustic part in the middle of the set when he played THAT song. Emotional considering the venue and how much Nirvana meant to the Reading audience. Neil as you would expect just got on with it.
    5) Mike setting his guitar on fire at the end of the show. Fucking perfection and have never seen ANYBODY look so angry before or after.
    6) Sleeping rough at Reading station as I missed the last train. Did I give a Fuck? Certainly not.

Hope you lay your hands on a few shows as from what I can remember they were really tight and had a great understanding of what Neil requires in his supporting players. Peace.
