I'm trying to give the money to the local food bank, Philabundance, instead of these overloaded political campaigns this year.

So many stupid e-mails about donating to be entered to win dinner with Obama at George Clooney's house or Sarah Jessica Parker's house. Do I give a shit about meeting those people?

I love coincidences like this. The last page I read last night before drifting off to sleep was on page 121 in Bill Maher's book The New New Rules:

    HAIR'S JONNY

New Rule: There's just something about a crew cut that says, "You can trust me. This [referring to the picture on that page] in Montana Senator Jon Tester. I don't know much about him and, and I don't need to. His hair says it all: "I'm friendly... I'm dependable... I'm literally levelheaded." If hair could smile, it would look like this. And most important, it's hair that says, "You will never, ever find me snorting meth with a gay hooker."

I don't know about the hair but I read that he and his family changed their farming operation over from conventional to organic. Now that is levelheaded!
"Pretty cookies, heart squares all around, yeah!"
    -Eddie Vedder, "Smile"

"Try to not spook the horse."
    -Neil Young

Well, that's the last time I make a political donation. $10 and I don't even get to sit in on the stage while PJ plays.

    What a gyp ...

I consider my taxes a political donation.
The only people we should try to get even with...
    ...are those who've helped us.

Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.
  • Me to i threw 10$ at the Tester gig , but in all honesty does anybody believe that someone who donated 10$ will actually win it i don't i'm sure there is someone who donated in the thousands that will be sitting on stage ...That's just my own opinion ..
jesus greets me looks just like me ....
