drowning? no foul play? Wasn't he on celebrity rehab a few years back for alcohol or something? I think that may have helped, but RIP anyway.

I didn't know that, but it doesn't surprise me. Most people just remember him getting his ass beat and the whole "can't we all just get along?", thing. The fact that the reason he got pulled over was because he was drunk as hell and led police on a high speed chase through a residential area, and his reasoning for trying to evade police was because he was on parole, is often lost in the story. Not saying he deserved and ass-whooping, but he wasn't just out minding his own business when a baton hit him in the face.
Anyways, RIP though Rodney.
