The Smashing Pumpkins Oceania cruise

I made a separate thread because this band and Billy fucking deserve it.

They did a cruise to celebrate that album, 15 special guests etc. Check the photos and the mini set. Some songs not played since the 80s and the message at the end of the last song is great.

    Thanks for posting this. I love Oceania a ton. If Billy just released an acoustic CD, it would be absolutely awesome! Can't wait for the Chicago Songs box set!

    Why the hell is he still calling his band "the smashing pumpkins"?!

    Seriously, I think its worse than alice in chains today. They arent even remotely the same band. Everyone left except him. Why cant he get real and call himself a solo artist already? Its clear he hates all of the past members. He fucking hates the shit out of Iha, he's argued with chamberlin to a point where he left the band himself, d'arcy...well ok, no real hatred against her. But why even bother? Why the fuck does he continue with that name if he wants nothing to do with the past members? fucking move on and change it already. You have a god damn high school kid playing on the drums now, and a wanna be "d'arcy" bassist. I will never take his music seriously anymore with him having the nerve to call his band the smashing pumpkins.

    and I respect his opinions, it has nothing to do with his antics. I think its pretty obvious all of the shit he says is to fuck with the media and fuck with peoples heads. I've watched videos of him fucking with crowds that were being lame. Yet ive watched videos of him being completely down to earth with real people that genuinely care. ala the video you posted talking to his real fans. I get his attitude. I just dont get that he still calls his fucking band the smashing pumpkins. oh well.. maybe its just for the cash....

    SP from 1991-2000 are perfect to me. Even the B-sides and demos were unbelievably good.

    Everything Billy has put out since he started using the name again has ruined them for me more and more each year. I can barely even listen to the old stuff now.
