Numbers

There might be a million words
there might be a dozen systems of notation
(for words and music and numbers)
there might be a thousand stars in the sky
there could even be 12 trillion questions starting with the word "Why?"
and 51 birds flying in the same direction at five o'clock everyday
or 38 boats sailing in a bay on any day
yes!
there could possibly be an infinite number of floating dust particles or melting sharp icicles
dripping, dripping, dropping, as I type this...
but I don't care!
I'm still happy that love exists to let me know that I'm an individual, irreplaceable,
and I live in some loving hearts on this lonely earth as the only one of me
