Why do you need to apologize. Like them or hate them they sell out every arena and taking their millions to the bank. And quite honestly, at least the give their fans a real tour. More then 3 fucking festivals. Also, my son is a big fan but more so loves their opening acts. This year he My Darkest Days and Bush. Bush is a great band. Some of you crack me up. You are identical to BTX crowd where if Eddie or Brice didn't pee on it, it ain't worth a shit. By the way, I am quite sure that most on this forum would hate Neil Young (younger crowd) if it wasn't for PJ.

Am I out of the loop? Who the HELL is Brice? Neil Young is my favorite artist of all time. i've seen nickelback, free ticket, I was at a bar across the street, figured I'd go in and check it out... I was there for maybe 30min, a few songs were played, but mostly, the band was asking people to throw joints/weed on stage and telling the girls to get topless...
Guess Nickelback and I like the same things :)

as for Nickleback... they are talentless rednecks  , i'm apologizing because Canada actually has talented musicians and acts that don't get the chance... :corn:

:nono: Neil Young is an amazing artist who's stature in music should never be questioned, and he doesn't need anybody propping him up. The fact that he allows PJ to be mentioned in the same breath is an honor they cherish.

As a 22 year old who has been raised on Neil Young by my parents since the age of about two - I'm not sure that's true. Please don't generalize about my generation like that. :nono:

Pearl Jam has expanded my musical horizon, for sure, but would I let a Pearl Jam member's opinion of another band taint my own? Never!

The whole Nickelback thing interests me.So despised by many yet they have consistently been the biggest none American band in America.
    So where are the fans?

I'm guessing most of their fans aren't the type that care enough about music to get on the internet and discuss it.

Gotta give the Chadman credit though...for having the balls to admit it.
