I hug trees but it's only to refresh my energy, especially on long drives or hikes.

The 2nd & 3rd of those apply to my little world -- which is a-ok by me ;)

Have a good swim and glorious day.

    I haven't hugged a tree in a while...sorry. :(
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

Hugging trees is never good. Bugs. Seems like it should be a good idea? Not really. AnD the redwoods are too big. Gardening always pays off.

    Sweet photos, Chadwick!

Anybody here ever hugged a madrone (Arbutus menziesii) on a hot day?

Try it, you'll like it! :D

Tangent thought, but just out of curiosity, has anyone ever seen a squirrel take a poop? They are almost as common as birds, yet I've never seen them in the act.

sure squirrels shit & urinate all the time. they poop high up in the canopy. a squirrel turd is usually riddled with corn, mashed potatoes & gravy and salt.

Do you see the way that tree bends?
    Does it inspire?
