Ticket purchasing for the Australia shows was always pretty smooth seems a shame
to change it.
Missed the other thread on page 2 when I searched before.. oops sorry..
* Ten Club tickets are for reserved seating and allocated by membership seniority, with the exception of rows 1-2 and rows 9-10 which will be used for random allocation unless otherwise announced.

Except all shows are a lottery to enter to get tickets now

Why do people seem to think otherwise?
Personally I would love all lottery because my number sucks .

And with auto renewal it won't improve for us unless a few hundred thousand clubbers get abducted by aliens
it is all a game of chance now. No more, I'll get night 1, you get night 2. How long do we wait to see if we got tickets? lame!
You can still coordinate "night 1 and night 2" with a friend. It was also a game of chance then with the F5 for 9-10 hours, site crashing in advance of the on-sale, and all that crap.
At least the site stays up during the lotto process, since we won't have to jam the site all at once.
Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"
I think the lottery is a great idea. I've wasted entire days with F5 before and I'm glad I don't have to anymore. Has anyone had trouble viewing the new site on an iPad? Maybe it's just me.

I think this is a fair system, because regardless of how the Ten Club wants to handle it or how we'd like to see it done, the fact is (1) the number of seats venues are allocating for fan club tickets has decreased and (2) Pearl Jam plays fewer shows. Going strictly by seniority for ticket purchases would eliminate a large portion of the current fan base who hasn't been around as long, and going strictly with a "live" online sale always seems to cause problems. Using seniority for seat assignment and not for the actual ability to purchase tickets seems fair.
I've been in the club since '95, and if I don't get to every show I put in for, I'm fine with it. As long as everyone gets a fair chance, that's the best I could ask for.

To breathe, to feel, to know Im alive.
this is only going to effect the high demand shows- eddie solo, a few of the northeast venues. everywhere else will be readily available as usual. which is why i dont try going to the garden.
They needed to do something about the high demand shows.
If 10c only get a predetermined percentage of their "sales" that's a letdown for me. Hopefully this mostly affects the shows that cause the clusterfucks.

No more f5 in
It was a waste of time, but I was like 27 for 28 only missed the Vic show

Or for every show match it with a 10c only show...
Nice dream...lol..
