The wife and I are driving up on Wednesday. I went in 2008 and had a blast. This will be her first 'Roo. Who else is going?
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

    I won't go, but I've read that the line-up is scheduled to be unveiled tomorrow. There's a rumours Nine Inch Nails have been given a headlining slot...

    Can't wait for the lineup announcment tonight!
    I have heard Kanye, Elton John, and Jack White are the headliners. Not really ecstatic about them but I will enjoy Jack White.
    Also hoping for The Strokes and The Gaslight Anthem as Cage the Elephant has already been confirmed. :D

    started going in '04, and have only missed '06 and '11. barring any unforeseen circumstances this will be roo number 9 for me. when i die i will have my ashes spread on that farm.

    if the lineup rumors are mostly true, i can't say there is anyone this year that i'll be nuts for. i'll be excited to see elton john, but i've seen kanye three times already (including that disasterous early morning "late night" set he did in '08) and jack white, while an exciting performer, has never really been appealing to me. on the undercard, i'll be hoping the rumors of nick cave, the flaming lips, motorhead (would be awesome at 3am ala GWAR a few years ago), rodriguez, and bobby womack pan out. and i'll probably go to lionel richie, too.

    They teased Julian Casablancas SOOOOO hard, I cannot believe it. They had him on the vido 3 times and The Strokes aren't playing... Hopefully they will be announced.

    Man, after seeing the lineup for Hangout Festival I was really hoping for some similar names this year for Bonnaroo. Some great performers on there, but not enough to make the trek to Manchester.

    For first timers...depending how old you are and how much money you're willing to spend I'd recommend upgrading to VIP. Most festivals it isn't worth it but with the heat it's definitely worth it at bonnaroo. Also unless you're under 22 or 25 you'll have people closer to your age in VIP

    I find the headliners weak but the undercard is one of the best I've ever seen. If I was geographically closer I'd go in a heartbeat.
    Bonnaroo 2008 was the first music festival I ever attended and I have fond memories of it.

May be flying solo so I'd most likely bring my own camping stuff, but would love to meet up so it's not entirely a solo mission for the weekend.     Heading into Nashville a couple days early as I've never been there before, and in the off chance that Jack White/Thirdman does something special for his album release.

    i actually think it's a pretty solid lineup that i will be excited for, despite my tepid enthusiasm for two of the three headliners. the superjam lineups that were just announced also look pretty killer. as has seemingly been the case the last few years, the artist conflicts are many, especially at late night. but any 'roo veteran would tell you, you make do.

    regarding kanye, i think people will have had enough time to reach the "acceptance" phase of whatever grief they may have initially had. i don't think it will be an ongoing storyline or anything as the weekend progresses. if he pulls any shit, though, oh man... i'm still not sure if i'd go to his set yet or not, though.
