Hatfields & McCoys mini-series...anyone else watch this?

One of the best mini-series since John Adams a few years ago.

I can't believe how spiteful and vengeful both families were. So may times each side had the ability to dissolve it, but it only escalated. Kevin Costner and Bill Paxton did spectacular jobs in their respective roles too.

I had planned on watching it (I had only seen the commercials a thousand times) but my holiday weekend was kind of hectic and didn't get around to it, and forgot to set the DVR. I'm sure History Channel will show it MANY more times, so I'll catch it eventually. All the commercials I saw, and sneak peek scenes they showed on History Channel all looked good.

    Watched all 3 parts....great series!

It was difficult remembering who was on what side! (besides the people with the obvious last names!)

I won't discuss any of the twists/turns in case people have yet to watch it

    YES
    And it was MAGNIFICENT!!!
Nice to see Costner do something quality again...this story is beyond fascinating...so glad we don't live in those times today!
I dislike commercials, so I DVR'd it and sped thru them.
Quality programming and highly recommended! What a story, and well done by the History Channel!

Excellent mini-series. I will watch this each time History decides to re-run it.

I've always known about the fued, but after watching this I'm interested in a good read to learn some more.

I watched it and thought it was really good. Those were some seriously messed up times in American history. The series was done very well and left me wanting to know more about the two families. I thought that lawyer guy, McCoy's cousin I think, was a complete creep and he bugged the hell out me. Over all I highly recommend watching it if you haven't seen it.

Didn't see it myself, but according to my dad it was very historically accurate.

And on American Pickers right now they are rooting through some H & M memorabilia...
