see what I mean?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluebird_of_happiness
"The mythology of the bluebird has deep roots that goes back to thousands of years. Indigenous cultures across the globe hold similar myths and beliefs about the bluebird. It is the most universally accepted symbol of cheerfulness, happiness, prosperity, hearth and home, good health, new births, the renewal of springtime, etc. Virtually any positive sentiments may be attached to the bluebird."

knowing my luck it'll be tonight, between Wednesday and Thursday, when i'm not online :(
I would like to hear from the birdy now please.
... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
However, in the U.S./Seattle, the week actually begins on Sunday. That is why Wednesday is considered mid-week:
Su Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa
Which one is in the middle?
.
New Orleans 1995
Fort Lauderdale 1996
Atlanta & Birmingham 1998
New Orleans 2000
Tampa 2003
Kissimmee 2004
New York City (x 2) 2008
East Troy (x 2) 2011
Chicago & New Orleans 2013
Hampton, Raleigh, Boston 2016
Baltimore 2020
Louisville 2022
Philadelphia & Baltimore 2024
I would define the week as in workweek. Mo Tu We Th Fr
So same result, Wednesday is in the middle.
Then we won't hear anything till tomorrow.
My point is that in many countries other than the U.S., the week looks like this on the calendar (not your work week):
Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa Su
Ours just so happens to begin with Sunday. So that's why mid-week = Wednesday. If Pearl Jam were from Spain, mid-week = Thursday.
See?

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
Hm, I'm from Western Europe and theoretically, our week begins Mondays, you're right. But instinctively, when I read mid-week, then that's Wednesday to me. That's just what people mean when they say "We're gonna have this or that ready by the middle of the week".
you mean because of this time difference from east coast to west coast right........??
yea- pretty sure mid week is wednesday since they arent usually operating during the weekends

Thank you.
I hope it's like a "Tweet! Tweet! Super Duper Poster Sale!", just to crush the lives of a few and drive up the sales of Prozac (thus helping the economy).
I'm kind of hoping its "Tweet bootlegs for Ed Solo Shows Tweet!"
However, a Tweet Super Duper Poster thing would be very Jamily-esque, don't you agree?
Probably, but even though it would be a pretty big letdown for it to be posters, it would still leave some people kind of excited, and we'd still have a zillion annoying threads, so, I'm hoping for practical.
That would be funny.
Thing is, 10C/Kat/Sea haven't done anything to hype everyone up. Even the tweet warning was very subdued, so really if today they announce "tweet, board will be down for maintenance for the next twenty minutes, that is all", we'd have no one but ourselves to blame for the let down.
You have a point, but since the cryptic little 'tweet' hints have been around, they've always alerted something pretty big. All tour news in the last couple of years has been tweeted, the poster book (which some would argue WAS huge...), and I'm sure other stuff that I can't remember, but it's definitely going to be something exciting.
