    evergreen - black crowes.
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
    Butthead: Huh huh.

I can name loads, but right now it has to be Summer's Kiss by the Afghan Whigs:

That build up, and then when it kicks in, utter perfection.

I've been a fan of both Queen and David Bowie for as long as I can remember (seriously, since I was a toddler/preschooler). When this came out, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven -- ridiculously good song.

First heard this when I was about seventeen, performed by a busker, and was sure it was the best song ever...had never heard of the song or the band...some twenty years later I still think I may have been right...

I have always just loved this song too, since it came out, 1979? 80?
